Machine relocation
15 TECHNICIANS SUPPORT DISMANTLING, REASSEMBLY AND ALIGNMENT DURING RELOCATION
An operator relocated several plant sections between two sites and needed a scalable assembly team.
Overview
Industry
Machine building and series production
Region
Two sites in Germany
Initial situation
Dismantling, transport preparation, reassembly and alignment had to interlock cleanly.
Highlights
15 technicians
2 sites
3 coordinated subteams

The challenge
Site change: Plant sections had to be documented, dismantled, prepared for transport and rebuilt.
Scaling: Each phase required a different team size.
Interfaces: Mechanics, mechatronics and support work had to be coordinated tightly.
Our approach
Phase planning: Staffing was split into dismantling, reassembly and alignment support.
Team profiles: Mechanical technicians, mechatronics technicians and helpers were combined.
Adjustment: Team size was adapted to relocation progress.
